Saturday, December 5th was Emma's fifth birthday. She was sick with the stomach flu and wasn't able to go anywhere, and her party planned for Sunday was cancelled! Emma was the first niece I got, but since Jana kept her gender a secret, we didn't find out until the day she was born. She had a TON of hair, that was the first impression of her from everyone that saw her! Emma has the funnest little personallity. She is the tiniest little girl, but she is a has a spit fire personallity! TOTAL girly girl! I don't think she was even two yet when she began diggin in my diaper bag for Katelynn's clothes to dress up in.
I love all the spunk that she adds to our family and am sure glad that she is a part of it. I hope she has a good bithday week now and that she knows I love her with all my heart! Happy Birthday EMMA

Happy Birthday Digga!!
So I am a bit of a slacker, Liam's birthday was on November 15th (Sunday), and I didn't post a birthday note to him, but beleive me I didn't forget him. He is such a cool little guy. He was in Michelle's belly when Grandpa Brent died, and we were hoping that he would be born on his birthday, but he decided to come a day later. He sure did come fast. Michelle barly made it to the hospital to have him.
I was sick, and was unable to go to the hospital to see him, but I couldn't wait to hold him. The first time I was able to hold him was in Michelle's kitchen in her dining room at the house Riverton. His mom and dad were remodeling the kitchen floor, and their banister was removed. My back was facing the drop off...and I held that little boy so tight that my arms ached when I was done holding him.
Liam is only 14 months older than Katelynn and he plays so well with all my girls. He loves baby Brinley and enjoys making her "walk." Speaking of walking we have some of his first steps on film he began walking the week that Harlie was born, and was stumblin around the hospital room. Liam is very caring and sweet. I hope that he knows how much I love him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE Digga Digga Digga

Guess Who has the Swine Flu??!?
We are sporting the swine flu at our house. Morgan has a CONFIRMED case. It isn't affecting my kids all that much. I think everyone is making it out to be more than it is. If you take care of it in the early stages, or if you have healthy kids (like I do) it seems to just take a while to get over it. They are all sleeping, eating, and playing normal...with motrin and tylonal for the fever. I am lucky that I have healthy kids. I only hope that Baby Brinley doesn't get it. Cross your fingers for me! I am hoping that my Dr. will get me some meds for her on Monday?!!? We have many others in our family that have it as well I hope (all my nieces and nephews) get better soon.
I love you guys! Rylee, Zowie, Max, Liam, and Simon. Get better soon!

Wyatt Turns 8
I thought that it would be a good thing and fun idea this year to write birthday notes to all my nieces and nephews. When you have to post it on their birthday though and you can see them all together you begin to realize how many there are.
Today is Wyatt's 8th birthday. I will never forget the day when Jana told me that he was being added to their family. I had Becky, Troy, and Natalie at my (newlywed) house all night, and they had taken a magnet to our computer and TV. When we got to my moms to drop Becky off I said "DON'T EVER HAVE KIDS" that was when she showed me her positive test, and my mind quickly changed. I still feel bad! I was so excited to meet the little guy and I think he was excited to meet me as well. He was originally due closer to my birthday on the 24th, but kept trying to come early. He stayed in long enough that his lungs were healthy and he didn't have to stay at the hospital longer than normal. He was the first boy in a long line of girls for my dad (having seven sisters, three girls, and now five granddaughters) and he is still the ONLY GRANDSON! I didn't have any kids when he was born, so when I got to see him, I was able to enjoy him and hold him all I wanted. I remember his army crawl, and one time when my mom was watching him (I don't remember why) he was crying and wouldn't stop. I laid him down on the floor and he fell right to sleep. He just wanted to be left alone! He is an intelligent little boy, and enjoys playing games of any kind board games and video games. I hope he has a great birthday and he knows that his aunt Kasey loves him very much.
PS: When I was little I remember thinking that Aunt Kasey sounded weird and Aunt Jana sounded so much better. I think it was because it was so much closer to Aunt Janet!?!? You think of the craziest things when you are little.

I suppose that I should wish myself a Happy Anniversary as well......Brian and I had our NINE YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY on Wednesday, October 7th. I can't beleive how time has flown. We have been together now for a total of eleven years. I guess we sucessfully made it over the seven year hump. :) I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and excellent father. I couldn't ask for anyone better fit for me. I think that we make a great team. (not to mention some super cute girls) Here are some of the things that I love about him the most (not in any particular order).
1)He is a GREAT father (he even attempts painting toes and doing hair)
2)He is a hard worker and excellent provider
3)He still likes me (even after four kids and tonz of stretch marks)
4)He answers his phone everytime I call even if I have already talked to him 100x that day he even talks to the girls each time as well
5)He takes care of everything I need him to he is Mr. Handyman, Fixit, Mechanic, Muscles, Landscaper, Electrician...you name it he can do it.
HE IS ONE GREAT CATCH....I AM GLAD HE IS MINE!

Happy Birthday Marlee
I want to wish a Happy 4th Birthday to my niece Marlee. She turned four today. Cory and Steph were lucky and had her on their one year anniversary (what a great present! Tonz better than the traditional paper)...so happy anniversary as well. I miss having her here in Utah so-ooo much. When she was little I got to hold her all the time, and she fits right in between Katelynn and Harlie, so they love having her around. I will never forget her as a newborn she was the most beautiful newborn I have ever seen in my life. She is still a little model, her parents better watch out! Boys will be beating down the doors in no time. For now, I hope she stays little for a while longer! :) Happy Birthday Marlee (little Monkey)

Happy Birthday Brody aka Christopher
My little nephew turned two on the 5th, and was in Utah to celebrate. We were so glad to spend his special day with him. He is so cute! Brian had so much fun picking out a TRUCK for him, and I am glad he enjoyed it (He carried it around in the box and wouldn't let anyone look at it.) I can't beleive that it has already been two years...I have only seen him about ten times. :( The girls were so excited to spend time with all their cousins. We went to the zoo on Saturday and Sunday we went to Brian's aunt Donna's for a family party. What a crowd when we are all together. We have 11 grandchildren! Steph's sister Corianne was at the zoo with her four kids, making a total of 15 kids all under the age of 10!
I remember when I was little swimming with my cousins and having a ball. We weren't planning on swimming at Donna's, but all the kids ended up in the pool. (thanks Brittney for lending Katelynn Zowie's suit). Marlee, Drake and Harlie in their undies and Simon, Brody, and Morgan were sporting their dipers (Dane had a swim Diaper). Morgan and Brody didn't last long in the pool, but Simon is a water baby and eventually had to loose the sagging diper. Pretty soon Katelynn made the announcement "SOMEONE POOPED IN THE POOL, EVERYONE OUT" My first thought looking at the remaining children Simon, Harlie and Marlee was "Please don't let it be mine" fortunately for me it wasn't, and Michelle had to go poop fishing! Thank goodness Harlie is potty trained....this party (pooper) made it all worth it!
